trying something new

I've never been a big fan of cross stitch. It's not a craft that made my soul sing. I think I thought it was too mathematical - I come from a family where you're either an artist or a mathematician. My fabulous sister is both a mathematician and a cross stitch addict. I knit, I sew, I work with clay, I photograph. I was biased. I found Emily Peacock. I changed my mind.

  2. Well... I have the beautiful 'Give me work...' on the go as I love Rob Ryan too. But this one is the 'Lets all take care of each other' from Cross Stitcher magazine last month. Which one did you get? Happy birthday!

  3. Cross stitch is great, strangely relaxing and soothing! I've been doing the Emily Peacock "Kiss" tapestry on and off for 3 years and am determined to finish it this year! Good luck with yours. x
