ReplyDeleteIt's SPRING! I remember moments like this in my own childhood: drawing on gravelly sidewalks, skipping, bouncing a ball against a wall! Timeless childhood pursuits.

ReplyDeleteI remember when my niece was two and she learned hopscotch. She couldn't jump, it was more of a wobble and way too funny.

I love hopscotch (welll not right now at 30 weeks pregnant!) Here our precious moment-- a great grandmother lovin' on her GreatGrandBabyGirls (whom we call the "twin cousins" born 7 weeks apart, 2 years ago)-- http://likemamalikedaughter.blogspot.com/2012/04/this-moment_20.html
ReplyDeleteI grew up in the city and that is all we played in the alley :)great moment!
ReplyDeleteSo fun! My husband made a hopscotch board with masking tape on our living room floor last month and I can't bring myself to pull it up. We all hop across the room almost unconsciously now when we reach it. Happy weekend!

Lovely. My little one is currently obsessed with hopscotch and shouts "hop" when she hops and "scotch" when she lands on both feet - it cracks me up!
ReplyDeleteChildhood games... so lovely!
ReplyDeleteWishing you a wonderful weekend!
I love your moment. Enjoy all that hopping! Jacinta
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful photo!! I played hopscotch every chance I got when I was a little girl. I can't wait to play it with my own daughter when she gets a little older!! Thanks so much for stopping by my blog. I just became your newest follower. : )
