- a single wheeled vehicle is a unicorn.
- A warm salad of mushroom and roasted squash is a yummy autumn lunch (thanks to Mr H F-W for the recipe)
- the woodburner is (almost) my best friend and the perfect place to hold a chicks with sticks knitting session.
- a watched kiln doesn't reach temperature.
- purple is my favourite colour.
- There are now more imaginary friends in the house than there are real people - who knew Mr Knickers and his cat, Mr Miaow had a window cleaning business?

Oh imaginary friends... I rememeber those days! My Dolly had "Lucy, Dark and Kate" 3 friends who only appeared when we had to do something, go somehwere, be in the biggest rush ever!! The hampered all our progress to get out the door but I have to say... I missed them when they were gone. Funny these things ;)
ReplyDeleteJust as we'd lost a pack of imaginary dogs all called Jim then Mr Miaow and Mr Knickers arrive! I did kinda miss all those Jims...
DeleteMr Knickers!!! Brilliant, I love it! And of course a single wheeled vehicle is a unicorn, what else could it possible be?? I lovely little list of learning. I hope you had a great weekend. x
ReplyDeleteYep, imaginary friends get the best names... Hope you had a fab weekend too!
DeleteGreat list! I miss the imaginary guys around our house. They don't visit us anymore...I don't think they are particularly fond of teenagers...sigh. Watched kiln = watched pot.
ReplyDeleteOur imaginary guys are very funny and exasperating all at the same time. Jess used to save her veggies for her pet monster because he'd be really disappointed if he went hungry...
DeleteWe haven't had any imaginary friends here yet. I love the sound of Mr Knickers! kids are brilliant. Thanks for finding me at my blog the other day and for leading me here - your ceramics are beautiful. xx
ReplyDeleteOur imaginary friends have turned up when the kids have been aged around three. Hazel is right - these friends sure know when you're in a hurry...
DeleteThanks for your kind words about my ceramics! xx
The unicorn kind of vehicles are very hard to ride aren't they, emma ? ;-)
ReplyDeletevery! ;) x
