things I have learned....

  • a single wheeled vehicle is a unicorn.
  • A warm salad of mushroom and roasted squash is a yummy autumn lunch  (thanks to Mr H F-W for the recipe)
  • the woodburner is (almost) my best friend and the perfect place to hold a chicks with sticks knitting session.
  • a watched kiln doesn't reach temperature.
  • purple is my favourite colour.
  • There are now more imaginary friends in the house than there are real people - who knew Mr Knickers and his cat, Mr Miaow had a window cleaning business?

  1. Oh imaginary friends... I rememeber those days! My Dolly had "Lucy, Dark and Kate" 3 friends who only appeared when we had to do something, go somehwere, be in the biggest rush ever!! The hampered all our progress to get out the door but I have to say... I missed them when they were gone. Funny these things ;)

  3. Great list! I miss the imaginary guys around our house. They don't visit us anymore...I don't think they are particularly fond of teenagers...sigh. Watched kiln = watched pot.

    1. Our imaginary guys are very funny and exasperating all at the same time. Jess used to save her veggies for her pet monster because he'd be really disappointed if he went hungry...
