Loved the fact I got a rose in the first time in 20 years... (previously have received some raku tongs, welders googles and a pineapple upside down cake but never before a rose.) And loved the fact I got to put my rose in one of my wall vases (all the seconds are littered about the house!)
Loved the fact that Valentines was expressed through the medium of Hama beads...
But I'm still gazing at that rose....
Have a great day everyone! x
Isn't it amazing how much a single rose can mean :) Happy Valentine's Day!
ReplyDeleteAnd to you! I'm still gazing at the rose....
DeleteThe rose is beautiful. My other half refuses to buy a rose on Valentine's day - he says they put the prices up. I say that's not the point! But he did buy me some nice books so it's not all bad.
ReplyDeleteGillian x
Normally my other half is as cynical as anything so I am amazed by the rose. Books last longer though...
DeleteSweet post. Such a gorgeous red rose and I love the Hama bead heart. We are very into Hama beads at the moment too...

Handmade is the best isn't it? I'm always happiest when I'm given homemade things. Thanks for the kinds words about my wall vases - you're very kind x
DeleteSeconds?! I got chocs and some bucks fizz (breastfeeding!, my husband isnt normally that romantic, but he did follow up with, 'they cost me nine quid' so he hasnt entirely changed ;)
ReplyDeleteYes seconds - sometimes that glaze doesn't behave as it ought. Naughty glaze.
ReplyDeleteLove the sentiment of 'it cost me nine quid' - sounds so like him indoors....
